As we announced in a recent news, the Planète SUNYDALE® had created and organized the MTB section of the Raid Olima 2008, that took place the 30th of May and the 1st of June.

With two 30km-circuits (1 per day the Saturday and the Sunday) in the superb woods around Bouzey Lake, our team worked hard to propose fun and unique to the competitors.

The damn crazy ice storm that destroyed a part of the circuit the day before the Raid, had forced our team tracers (Jay, Séb, Yann, Grand,...) to work again in emergency and like hell until night to re-trace, ajust and clean.

Finally, this disaster did not prevent the troups from experiencing a great ambiance during the Raid and the feedbacks on the mountain bike circuits created by our team were just incredible.

Thanks again to the leaders of RT2O for having given to us this mission, and we expect to see you all for next year's session, greater, cooler and more unforgettable.

And congratulations to Juju and Gael for their nice perf, above all in biking...

After Saint-Dié series the week before, Remiremont Lorraine DH race series took place this week-end of 27th and 28th of May.

This year, the slope was very spectacular and as usual 90% natural trail, in a superb pine forest.

The Sunday morning rain had transformed the slope into a muddy trail and the last afternoon was a never ending session of skids and stunts.

To make pictures and videos that we share there with you, we stayed around one of the hottest spots of the slope : the wall. With either at the beginning a high roc or a tight curd on a slippery roc. Then a long, cliffy, destructured and painted with no-way mud. With a heavy landing surrounded by friendly trees covered by mattresses ready to catch all victims of guidoning.

At the end, many falls and some very impressive and fortunatelly without injuries : almost all lost pilots were laughing by jumping again on they bikes... It was only the first quater of the slope.
And the 10 best riders offered us weighlessness tricks without using the brakes and in a Silver Surfer style.

Rémi Thirion, the Vosgian pilot from Saint-Dié and Junior French Champion, finally won this year.
